Hello, I am Jet Jacobse

About me

My work is about change that works in practice.
Not about models or quick fixes, but about understanding what is really going on — and creating movement from there.

I work with people, leaders and organisations who sense that change is needed, but also experience that plans and good intentions alone are not enough.

How I look at change

Change does not emerge because we design it, but because people start to look differently, make different choices and act differently.

In my work, I look at:

  • patterns that keep repeating

  • behaviour in relation to systems and context

  • tension, difference and what they make visible

  • leadership, ownership and responsibility

Not to explain it, but to make it workable in practice.

My background

I have worked for more than twenty years in and with organisations dealing with change.
In different roles: as an interim project lead, change professional, coach, trainer and facilitator.

My experience sits at the intersection of:

  • organisational change and business change delivery

  • customer and employee experience

  • leadership and collaboration

  • learning and development in practice

I have worked in both private and public contexts, often in complex and international environments.

How I work

I work with involvement, clarity and practicality.

This means that I:

  • do not stay on the sidelines

  • ask questions that help slow down and accelerate

  • pay attention to behaviour, language and what happens below the surface

  • work with what is, not with what “should be”

Whether I step in as an interim project lead, coach, trainer or facilitator — my focus is always on movement that lasts.

What I stand for

I believe that sustainable change emerges when people:

  • take responsibility

  • experience ownership

  • have room to learn

  • are supported in making different choices

This does not require a perfect plan, but attention, courage and practice in daily work.

Who I am

Alongside my work, I am a partner and parent of three children — two sons and a daughter. We live in the Randstad, where work, family life and sport naturally alternate.

I have worked for more than 24 years within large organisations such as ING, Achmea and Shell. Since my internship in Prague, Czech Republic, one common thread has run through my career: structural improvement, together with colleagues, teams and the leaders I support.

My academic background is in Business Economics (Erasmus University Rotterdam).
I combine this business foundation with a strong interest in human behaviour, development and learning in practice.

Sport also plays an important role. For many years I was active on the hockey field myself; today I am active as an umpire — among others for the KNHB as a district referee in South Holland, internationally at World Masters Hockey European Championships and World Cups — and at my club MHC Zoetermeer. Within my business, I am also active as a substitute hockey coach, currently mainly for the youngest youth teams.

I enjoy reading, both fiction and non-fiction, and continue to develop myself — professionally and personally.

I bring this curiosity and learning mindset into everything I do.
